I want to understand HP's plan:

Spin off the measurement/medical units,
Close the calculator division,
Kill the most stable computing system they have (IMHO),
and then merge? Can pissing off the big companies that use the 3000 really
help them in the merger?

So I guess the plan is to try to compete against a free operating system (in
Linux) and an operating system developed by a company who will have State
Attorneys General and the European Union on their ass for the next few
years?

We should migrate? Migrate to what?

WWWDD?
