I'm not so sure I'd call this "tidying up".

Perhaps stomping off in a huff...but not tidying up! :-)

Subject: [HP3000-L] HP3000 retirement and the merger

Dear Carly would have been far smarter to hold off on this announcement
until
after the Compaq merger vote, that is if she thinks it still has a chance,
because she just pissed off a chunk of her user base. An older chunk of the
user base that is likely to have retirement funds and have bought in HP, not
to
mention all those HP employees in CSY.

Perhaps Carly has read the handwriting on the wall and is tidying up before
she
leaves?
