.....  and once amazon.com said *they* were moving to Linux, seems
like in choosing between Linux and HP-UX, Sun, et. al "proprietary
UNIX", IT managers now have a pretty good answer to one question;
i.e.:   "If amazon.com can do it, so can we.....".


Interesting "lego" analogy...

I don't claim to begin to understand all the details that would have to
be addressed, but more and more I like the sound of being able to
run both MPE and Linux on a partitioned dual-processor IA-64 box;
if only the MPE IA-64 Translator can be finished....
