Thanks for the reassurances from those of you whose checks arrived in
yesterday's mail. Previously salary checks arrived by mail by the last day
of the month or earlier. Allowing for some delay because of recent events,
I'd waited until after yesterday's delivery to ask.

Ms Parks is correct; I've not signed on to Knoxville's direct deposit. I'm
not opposed to direct deposit per se, but I have reservations about UT's
form.

Other UTC staff I've talked to previously were unaware that WITHDRAWAL
autorization of any amount at any time is in the fine print of UT's direct
deposit form? From experiences with several businesses, UT's direct
deposit is unique in containing this "withdrawal clause." I have direct
deposits by other corporations, but none contains withdrawal rights.

Guess I'm more conservative than 95% of my colleagues.
