John asks:
"I am currently running an HPe3000 996/600. I am thinking about installing a
Surestore 2100. Has anyone had any experience with this enclosure on a
3000?"


On the e3000, the SureStore DS2100 is only supported on the A-class and
N-class servers.
It has an LVD/SE interface, so it might work OK on a single-ended SCSI
adapter on a
PB-based server such as the 996.  However, it is not supported by HP in this
manner.
