Please pardon the crossposting to groups which may not seem relevant,
but I am at a total loss as to where to find this information, so I'm
having to take a bit of a "shotgun" approach.
Back when the Procurve 4108gl switch was announced, HP said that layer
3 switching would be added via software at a "later date". However,
there's no real mention of this on the website any more ...
Will the 4108gl have layer 3 switching capability? If so, when?
We need this ability, and if the 4108 can't do it we are going to have
to go with a more expensive Cisco solution. We'd rather stick with HP
on this one.
