'Bus error' when running a Posix 'C' program.

Omitted the subject line on last send of this posting (no responses) so
trying again:

Downloaded text2pdf from invent3k last week and found that, after tweaking
with some of the switches, it works great. Does just what we wanted (thanks
to Phil Smith for writing it and Mark Wonsil for making it available on
invent3k) ...

Now here's the BUT - just tried it with one of our biggest reports and got a
'Bus error'. I've only listed the variables that changed during this run.
Anybody know what is causing this and how to fix it? We will save forests
not just trees if it can be made to work.
