AD4- However, Wirt Atmar does happen to know something about the
AD4- Lick Observatory
AD4- that most people find very creepy when they first visit: The
AD4- large central
AD4- telescope, a 36-in affair, is mounted on a single-pier
AD4- equatorial mount, and
AD4- the benefactor of the Lick Observatory, James Lick, is buried
AD4- in the center
AD4- of that pier. The observatory and the placement of his final
AD4- resting place
AD4- were all part of the specifications of his last will and testament.
