I cannot run standalone TERMDSM

I have a A-class e3000 with mpe/iX 7.0.
Because I don't want to use cstm, I installed the patch TSMGD73A, but I
still cannot run TERMDSM.
It resides in DIAG.SYS !
When I try to run it, I only get END OF PROGRAM and it stops with no error
message.
Can anyone help me out?
