hi all!

this should be sufficiently obscure :-)  *if* nmmgr has been
set up to require a password (you know, that field at the
bottom of the first screen?) -- how do you get rid of it??

i know you need to run nmmgr in maintenance (or character)
mode and i even know the command (password (well
duh))....but typing 'password<cr>' does nothing.  what's the
missing step(s)?          - d
