Sendmail can be used to send e-mail from batch jobs.

Sendmail 8.9.1 is currently available from
http://www.bixby.org/mark/sendmailix.html as unsupported freeware.

An official HP beta of sendmail 8.12.1 should become available in the not too
distant future.  Watch for the announcement on HP3000-L.
