To all FAX/3000 gurus,
I have a standard printed form that I am attempting to fax. It is derived
from a working copy that we currently fax so every character is in the same
position as the working copy. Still I get this error below and can't seem to
figure out the problem. It is an exact copy down to the xxxxxxxx.profile.str
file.
Anyone seen this error and have a hint for me?

Dear Jeff,
You may have a problem with your FAX/3000 profile. The error occurs because
FAX/3000 is unable to find a valid destination from either the [PHONE=,
[LIST=, [EMAIL=, and [DESTINATION= commands.
STR Software has created a "white paper" for integration with Ecometry that
may be found on our web site. I will attach the short and long version of
these papers to you in a separate message.
I suggest that you also review Section 4, "PROFILE COMMANDS", of the
FAX/3000 Reference Manual and "Using a profile" in the FAX/3000
Demonstration Guide. Furthermore, the FAXPRO.FAX3000.STR utility program
will create a profile from your input file with a series of prompts. All of
our manuals are now in PDF format for easier distribution and printing.
Unfortunately, your company, Creative Computers, canceled support for
FAX/3000 effective September 30, 2000. Knowing that you still use the
product heavily, perhaps you might consider renewing support. We have
numerous new features of the 4.7+ release and will release the 4.8 version
later this year.
I have asked your account executive, Mike Piland, contact you to discuss the
option of renewing support for FAX/3000.
Sincerely,
Ben
