It seems that when our internet connection is down (unavailable) and we attempt to ftp from the 3000 to another machine within our own network(site is up and available as it's on our network) that it does not work. The ftp from the 3000 times out. It appears as though it's looking for something through the internet connection even though our DNS is local.

Sendmail on the other hand, works fine...

Any ideas on why the 3000 has an issue ftping when out internet line is unavailable?

TIA, bob
