You were almost there. You want to go to
http://www.compaq.com/products/handhelds/pocketpc/index.html
There you will see the H3670.

I now realize what you meant by handheld and you are indeed correct. AFAIK,
Compaq does not have any handhelds as you describe them. They seem to have
concentrated only on the PocketPC. I have never figured out why someone
would want a handheld with clamshell and miniature keyboard. I just can't
see the need for those. I am wide open for education, especially from
people who have and use them.

They are too small to use effectively, yet too big to carry comfortably.
Yes, they have a keyboard, but so does my PocketPC when I need one and it's
bigger than the keyboard of a handheld and it collapses. About the only
thing going for the handheld is the instant on, but my PocketPC has that and
my laptop can be set to hibernate. The handheld is more rugged than the
laptop, but less so than the PocketPC. It just seems to be something stuck
in the middle, satisfying neither requirements of small size and lots of
power and storage. I will stay with the laptop/PocketPC combination.

Also, please note that I could never figure out the by attraction to the
Palm Pilot either. It think it's useless and I also think it is going to be
the big loser with the HP/Compaq merger.

Finally, I am in the midst of writing a long article on the PocketPC and its
uses and I will look to see if I can get it published somewhere.

Kind regards,

Denys. . .
