Hello folks @ 3000-l,
Re: Abnormal Telnet behavior
-----------------------------------------------Al Karman writes--
Some mighty peculiar behavior involving my 937LX running MPE/iX
6.0. An extranet business partner on Thursday AM to have
problems maintaining a telnet connection. My network svcs guys
tell me the packet trace looks OK, then fails due to a 'finack
issued from the 3000'.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
This sounds like one for the HP-RC folks to look at... I foresee
that you will need to turn on NMLGing for the NS-Transport to see
if the 3000 is retransmitting and then terminating the connection
FIN/ACK due to lack of ACK from the remote host.
I hope this helps.
