You might find it helpful to get a copy of the "HP e3000 Web Starter Kit"
to get a collection of examples installed into a WEBKIT account. It does
not have Perl or PHP but shows things like CGI programs (shell script and
pure COBOL example) as well as Java Servlets, Java Applets, JDBC and other
things.

It used to be available on CD (easier to use than huge download). I don't
know if the www.hp.com/go/3000 still has a link to request one. If not, it
might be helpful if someone stepped forward to copy/share CD's (I have the
master, but am not able to handle all the burning and shipping).

Oh, by the way, my "beta version" is still available on the web at
  http://www.editcorp.com/personal/lars_appel/webkit (or was it webkit2 ?)
but as I said, the downloading is not the most convenient method.

Lars.
