David,
More than likely, one of the son processes spawned by JINETD
internally did an AIFCHGLOGON to the MANAGER.SYS user. When
this happens, a SHOWJOB will pickup that user and display it.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Please explain this
Can someone please explain this phenomena?
JINETD was stream on WEDNESDAY @ 16:51 as can be seen on the showjob below.
The jobname reads, as expected, "JINETD,BATCH.AMED", now check out the
second showjob done a few hours later.
JOBNUMBER = 727 (that's still the same)
Streamed on WED 4:51P (and that's still the same)
BUT.......... now the jobname reads "MANAGER.SYS"....!!!!!!!!!!!
