I have Robelle's fortune cookie program setup to run every time I login. I
may have to take it out of my login script for a while, because this is what
came up this morning, exactly one week after the attack:

_____________________________________________________________

Parts of Los Angeles have had their area code changed to 310.
New York has also had its area code changed.
All of New York is now area code 911. [Kevin Nealon]
_____________________________________________________________

Ouch. Normally I would find this funny, but the irony is just too much.

Please, all you good people at Robelle, don't take this as criticism. But I
had quite a shock on Sunday, I was reading the local (Cincinnati) newspaper
and saw a picture of a friend and colleague at my last employer who was in
the WTC when it was attacked, and is still missing (officially anyway). And
with all the email flying back and forth, no one thought to tell me. :-(
He's the second one listed on this page, Jim Cleere:

I worked with Jim for several years when I was on the Help Desk and he was
in charge of Desktop and Telecomm.

And here I was thinking all my family and friends were okay...
