DAMN right it matters !! When a leader of state starts siding with any one
church view, those with other views will, at the very least, perceive that
they are at a disadvantage, whether it is true or not. The essence of US
freedom is that everybody CAN take a different path to whatever destination
they seek, and they can all have different destinations, and the state
basically keeps its hands off. I think it should stay that way too, based on
the lessons of history.
What church ?? you say - consider if Dubya came out as a Scientologist, or
one of those groups who juggle rattlesnakes, and started to favour them with
state aid etc?
What is your definition of a church anyway?

Who cares what church ??? Does it really make a difference ?
People can take one of many paths to get to the same destination.

YES, but which church!!!!!! That's fine when its YOUR church, but what if
its NOT MINE??????
What if it changes at the next election- how will you feel then??
I dont want to call anybody an anti-disestablishmentarianist (cos it hurts
to have to think how to spell it)

Everyone with a TV or radio, couldn't help but notice the amount of
separation between Church and State has diminished significantly since last
Tuesday. I personally think it is great and that chasm between the two
should shrink even more.
Has anyone noticed that certain vocal groups opposing that have been
noticebly quiet lately?
These opinions and views are my personal opinions/views and not necessarily
those of my employer.
