The NATO is a contract between several foreign nations.

There is a clause in it that an attack to ONE nation CAN be seen as an
attack to ALL nations. The intend is: you can beat ONE but you will
probably be attacked back by ALL.

Isn't this exactly the case now ?

Look to the web the terrorists have all over the nations: there were at
least one arrest in Hamburg/Germany; several houses were investigated by
German police and secret service in Hamburg. Officials say that Hamburg
probably is a nest, a refugium for Islamic terrorists.

ALL nations linked in any way to the U.S. feel attacked and are in fear.
They feel with the people.
A lot of nations lost people in N.Y., either in one of the planes or
working in W.T.C.

It is an attack with major impact for the western world. U.S. has the
cooperation in NATO. What is this contract worth if not become reality now
? The U.S. did a lot in the last centuries for Europe, starting latest
1945, why not pay back a little NOW ?

Just a personal European opinion, Andreas
