DDS-1 = C1501x

DDS-2 = C1504x
C1521x
DDS-2 drives are all compression-enabled. Therefore, your problem may be
that you are trying to read a compressed tape on a non-compressed drive. If
thta's the case, you have to create the tape again on your DDS-2 drive AFTER
disabling compression as follows :
:DEVCTRL.MPEXL.TELESUP 7 compression=disable
