Dear Colleagues,
All members of the campus community - students, faculty, and staff -
are invited to join with
representatives of UTC's other constituencies in sharing with members of
the UT Presidential Search Committee and Advisory Council information
about our campus and the region it serves.
On Wednesday, September 26, Dr. Carolyn Hodges, Professor and Head of
the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at UT Knoxville and
Chair of the UT Presidential Search Advisory Council,
will join Mr. Bill Funk, a representative of the search firm assisting with
this important effort, and
and Dr. Cathy Cole of Governor Sundquist's staff will visit UTC. They will
be providing us with information
regarding the presidential search process, timeframe, position description,
and qualifications while
learning directly from us about UTC's unique assets, needs and challenges.
This important dialogue
will provide them with information which they will, in turn, share with
other members of the Search Committee and Advisory Council as well as
eventual prospective candidates for the position of president.
Please plan to attend the Public Forum to be held:
September 26 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Hall of Fame Room - 4th Floor of McKenzie Arena
Your participation in this crucial effort is greatly appreciated.
thank you
