In recent months, Dr. Obi Ebbe of Sociology, Anthropology and Geography has
made presentations at three conferences and published an article regarding
international crime and policing.

Dr. Ebbe published “International Police Cooperation in Africa” pages 63-69
in
the publication INTERNATIONAL POLICE COOPERATION: A WORLD PERSPECTIVE.  He
presented (1) "International Corrections:  Comparative Perspective at
annual conference of the Academy of Criminal Justice; (2) "The Emergence of
Criminal Law in Africa" at the 10th Annual Africa/Diaspora Conference in
Sacramento, California; and (3) "Political Corruption in Africa at the 9th
International Police Executive Symposium in Warsaw, Portland.

expertise in this area.
