I've just posted a small selection of photographs from Walindi (Kimbe
Bay, New Britain) - the first part of our PNG trip last month.

Tammy Peluso is the photo pro at Walindi. While we were there, I
engaged her for two days instruction in wide-angle, which has been a
problem for me.
Conditions were rather nasty while we were there - dark, rainy, and
terrible viz. But the dives with Tammy were a revelation to me on many
levels, not the least of which was that reasonable wide-angle shots
with blue backgrounds and apparent clarity were possible under
conditions that I previously would have assumed rendered wide-angle
pointless to even try.
I'm still working on scanning stuff from our magical ten days at Milne
Bay on the M/V Chertan, mainly macro subjects but which included
several amazing dives at the manta cleaning station.

Robert Delfs
