Hi Angelo,

Lotsa snips.....tired me out just reading it :-)
What the Casualty Department doctor was told ( from Hyperbaric Specialist in
Aberdeen) to do with me was to put me on 100% O2. If that relieved the
symptoms then it was DCI (we say Decompression Illness )
It did! Within minutes!
So I was helicoptered to the chamber for decompression.
I cant find then now since my computer crashed (Lost all email) in June but
there are two different list references to my situation - part of the "
claustrophobia " thread and the "Sh*t Happens" thread August and October
2000.
You did the right thing to report it immediately - I delayed for 5 days and
allowed the "bubbles to harden" is the phrase I believe they use.
FWIW I think you had a VERY strenuous and tiring weekend - lugging a lotta
weight around and you've pulled muscles. Also, FWIW, your doc should
advise you NOT to dive until these aches and pains are better - again "they"
say, "hits are attracted to injuries"
Good luck and rest!
Cheers
Carol
