Hi Mike,
Yes your netcontrol statement is correct, the override option disables
version checking. Sometimes when backing out an update you can get
mis-matched versions of the various parts of NS, which will generate an
error when starting ns services and stop the network from coming up, the
"overide" parameter lets your bring up the network despite the error.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Starting a BT100 Lan Card
Our hp3000 has a 10mb card (called lan1) installed and we have now added a
100mb card (called BT100).
The question we have is what is the correct command to use for activating
this new interface card. It already
has it's own IP address setup we just want to make it live.
Included below is a portion of our sysstart file for starting the network.
We want to be able to use both cards at the same time.
I assume we can add an additional line that says:
NetControl Start;Net=BT100;Override
The other question we have is what is the purpose of the Overide statements
are they necessary?
Thanks
Mike
