Didn't there used to be something about the file coming back to your PC
from the "drag" location first and then to the "drop" location?

Thanx,
        Jon

Subject: Copy using Novell vs. NT using Explorer

I've just been converted off a Novell Server
to an NT server. When dragging and dropping
large documents in Explorer over the network
it seems doggone slow versus my previous
set up.

I wondered if the PC network gurus on this
list had any insight whether there is anything
inherent to NT that would slow down file
movement (besides virii.)
