Running Reflection for HP 8.00.076 connected via VT-MGR (no such problems
when using telnet!), pretty normal 80-column character mode. I start a long
listing (say maybe a system log file), and use control-s and control-q to
pause and resume the list. While paused, the only way I can scroll the
display is via the scroll bar (and I only know how to do that with the
mouse); control-up and control-down don't work (I know they've worked in the
past), nor does any cut/paste operation (important feature lost).
This leads me to believe that control-s & control-q are no longer simple
xoff & xon - Reflection must be doing something 'smart'. Any ideas re how
to out-smart it?
(I've also noticed that (yes I'm using Reflection Typeahead) all my attempts
to use ^up and ^down, as well as my attempts to cut & paste with the mouse,
seem to get put into the typeahead buffer. Then when the long list is
finished, the display goes nuts while the buffered keystrokes are
processed.)
