We have noticed that in a session directly at the prompt, any command prefixed
with COMMENT is treated as, well, a comment and not executed. On the other hand,
a command prefixed by '#' is executed.

There is no difference between COMMENT and '#' in a command file or in a job
stream.

Is this normal?
