UTC Faculty and Staff,

Last call to enroll in the special GIS (Geographic Information Systems
course).  ESC 501 is the introductory two-credit hour ArcView course being
offered for graduate credit on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m.-noon,
beginning Sept. 8.  The course provides an understanding of GIS concepts,
operational software skills, analysis of data,and production of maps.

The course can also be taken for undergraduate credit as ESC 466.

Faculty and staff who want to enroll should do so before 5 p.m. this
Friday.  Michelle Walters in the Graduate School office will be glad to
assist you with application materials.  You will also need an employee fee
waiver from the Personnel Office. The textbook costs $40.
