   Unless you live in Singapore where you can get a Vyper or Mosquito for
close to that (about US$ 280)   :-)   ....  or one of the simple Uwatec
computers -  I don't remember the model but the price quoted to me was I
think about (US$ 220)  ...

You can get a Citizen Hyper Aqualand for somewhere around $250 on line.  I
think you'd have a hard time buying a computer and much of any watch for
that price.
