Hey there...

I just wanted to jump into the fray for a second...

Our trip to Cozumel was great. We saw more turtles this year than
ever before. Early on in the trip there was an extremely large
turtle resting on the bottom just to the side of the coral at
El Paso De Cedral. By huge I mean probably 6' long. I have it
on video. For a minute I thought it was dead because it wasn't moving
but then wham - it opened it's eye and looked at us. It never did
move any more than it's eye during the 3-4 minutes we were there.

I'll do a more complete writeup but the two highlights that
stand are are the fact that I saw more turtles than ever
before and was even able to capture one for more than 8.5 minutes
on video. The other highlight is that Josh began doing "real"
dives with me. With his Zeagle BC, he wore an AL80. Some of
the dives we did together were:

1) Palancar Gardens
2) One of the "wall" dives (San Francisco Wall from memory)
3) El Paso De Cedral at night
4) The wreck (which was the last dive of the trip for us)

and several others. Also, Jonthan (Josh's younger brother)
did a couple of dives with me just out from the beach - shallow
dives not more than 10-12' deep - just like Josh started out
doing 4 years ago.
