You are right there - I think. I can't even locate the reference book to see
if I'd seen one.
I wouldn't even know one if it were on my plate for dinner.

Digital Photos.
In NZ I picked up a Sony 3.3 mpl digital camera and the accessory u/w
housing (rated to 30 meters - I took it to 100 feet ok).
I am very happy with this purchase. (For one thing, the US$ verses the NZ$
helped).
The photos are very fun and easy to work with on the road.
In Yap we had a slide show on the TV every night.
Example: "Which Mantas did we see today? Let's check...."

In order to put these jpgs on the web I had to shrink them a whole lot. I
went from about 2 to 3 megs/ shot down to 20K. That said I got 6 shots up
yesterday on:
http://www.divewell.cc

Is anyone else using tis camera/ Digital at all?
I don't pretend that this compares to a $10k SLR set up.
But, it is not such an expensive set-up. It's cost is less than a system
based on used Motor Marine gear.

There are some isues that would be interesting for me to discuss with anyone
who cares.
Things like light and framing, and any lenses that might be available.

Is anyone doing UW video?

Let me know.

John
