Subject: Re: [HP3000-L] System console for an HP 3000 957 - keyboards

Keyboard confusion clarified: The 700/9x series of terminals (700/92,
700/94, 700/96, and 700/98) can use either of two different keyboards. The
original one was the C1400A keyboard. The newer one is the C3340-whatever
part number that has been posted here on HP3000-L. Note that the other
700/xx terminals (such as 700/22, 700/41, 700/60, etc etc etc) all have their
own corresponding special keyboards due to the keycap location and labeling
requirements related to the type of terminal that they are.

The person who posted the original note here has a older 2392A terminal which
can use either the 46010A or the 46011A keyboard (identical except for the
key 'feel'). In all of these keyboards you can find out what model # it is
by flipping it over and looking at the label on the bottom of the keyboard.

More than anyone really wanted to know about HP keyboards right??? While we
are at it, does anyone have any very very special very rare HP 98203C
technical computer keyboards (has a metal case - used on Series 300
computers)???? We have a constant need for those!
