Speaking as a fellow programmer (not as an HP labbie) I'm curious, what
behavior do you expect from ;WAIT=### when in batch?
I'm guessing that ;WAIT= will make a call to FCONTROL 4 (or
FDEVICECONTROL) on your behalf. If you are not a terminal or a MSG file
(ok or a socket), then why would a timeout be needed. Am I missing
something really obvious here?
Also, since ;CONSOLE puts the read on a real terminal then a timeout
does make sense in that case.
