I've just uploaded a new version of MPE::IMAGE (version 0.04) to CPAN.  Here's
the relevant entry from the Changes file:

        - DbClose now assumes mode 1 if the mode is not specified
        - Some documentation fixes
        - Catch DbInfo failure in item_info
        - DbFind was erroneously passing item names to item_info

In particular, it should solve the following problem when using DbFind:
