Interesting story Ken. Glad to know that ya'll were able to free some
of the critters safely.

While I haven't seen any of these nets in the ocean due to my
limited amount of salt pond diving, I used to run across large gill nets
regularly in the river here. They are illegal to have or use now but I
still come across an abandoned one every now and then. Nasty
things too.......
