Hi Wayne,

I have a couple of HP100s that are about 3 years old
that don't have the Transportation Canada (TC) stamp
on them. So they can't be filled in Canada, or so we
wwere told last year.
What is really irritating about the whole thing is it
is all politics. Press Steel apparently submitted them
for testing to the U.S. DOT but not the TC. So
somebody got their knickers in a knot & said they
couldn't be filled in Canada without the TC stamp. So
Press Steel submitted then to TC, who approved them,
but the tanks made & sold before the TC approval can't
be filled, but the same damn tank with the TC stamp
can be.
There are days that I think all bureaucrats should be
used as chum, on other days I'm thinking landfill.

About lunch, until 5 minutes ago I had plans on
catching the 1000 ferry, then I got a phone call from
a friend who wants to carpool up & he wants to drive &
he wants to catch the 1245 ferry, actually he wanted
to catch the later ferry, so we compromised on the
Noonish one. Why am I letting him make the decisions,
cuz I'm a nice guy, & I kinda agreed to this a month
ago, but thought he'd found another passenger, cuz I
have someone to split the ferry cost, cuz I can now
sleep in a couple of hours. So I won't be getting in
till around 1500 & won't have a car to drive up for
dinner. Wanna meet somewhere for a beer when you get
off work? I'm buying.
Ed
