Assuming an HP c3000 is a Windows x86 computer of some kind,
the first thing to do is to complain to HP that they chose
a stupid name for it (and for the Omnibook 3000 :)
The HP 3000, temporarily called "HP e3000", is a wildly different
computer. Based on PA-RISC (with IA-64 promised), it competes with
the HP 9000 (when it's allowed to, of course), and would be
classified as a small mainframe. (Of course, it's hard to categorize
a computer than can support from 1 to 2000 users :)
This is a long way to say: you posted your question in the wrong group :(
However, ask:
- will your c3000 boot with the unnamed SCSI card installed
and with the IOMEGA *not* plugged into the SCSI chain?
If no, then it isn't an IOMEGA problem.
- will your c3000 boot with any other SCSI devices plugged into
the unnammed SCSI card?
If no, then is isn't an IOMEGA problem.
The above doesn't help much if it's a problem specific to the IOMEGA,
but may help by excluding some possibilities.
Oh yes...don't forget to complain to HP Marketing :)
