In case anyone is curious, here are some raw numbers for frequency of search
term use on Google. These are relative numbers and possibly not perfect,
but the trend is pretty clear:
From 6/19-6/21:
Keyword/ Number of times used
Phrase (relative value)
-------- --------------------
MPE 401
HP3000 161
HP-3000 101
MPE/iX 15
MPE/XL 4
HPe3000 1
HP-e3000 1
HP e3000 0
The "MPE" number probably reflects non-3000 related searches, though I was
able to filter out those that also included the word "Max" (as in the
Max-Planck-Institut für extraterrestrische Physik who apparently use the
term "MPE" as an abbreviation for their institution).
Not good e-news for e-marketing, IMHO.
