Subject:	How do you run freevt3k.linux20 on the linux once I've gzip -d the file???????

I managed to ftp the freevt3k file to my linux server.  I've use gzip -d to obtain to file freevt3k.linux20.


I was expecting to get a .tar file then do an unzip.  Do I have to rename freevt3k.linux20 to freevt3k.linux20.tar or can I run the file as is?  I'm trying to achieve the command freevt3k 192.168.1.1.2.
