I've gotten several responses like Andres Ogayar's, but I don't buy it:
> Long ago, an HP technician told me it is caused by reflection
> sessions being closed without properly disconecting from the 3000.
I thought that's what caused Error 42:
** NS/3000 NetIPC ERROR IN VT; Job: #S10658; PIN: 399; Info: 1
- Error: 42;
I see that all the time. But these are different. Different 'Error' number,
no Job/Sess #, 'Info' is not 1, and there's more to it:
** NS/3000 INTERNAL ERROR IN VT; Job: 0; PIN: 604; Info: 18245
- Error: 34;
- Miscellaneous : 12020
** NS/3000 INTERNAL ERROR IN VT; Job: 0; PIN: 604; Info: 0
- Error: 23; Offending IP address in Info(msb) and Qualifier(lsb)
Wesley Setree may have something, we just started using Security/3000 for a
new account and all the users have been setup with their passwords expired
(i.e. they have to be changed on first logon). So maybe it's related
somehow...
Wes, please do let me know what VESoft says!
Thank you all for your efforts,
Patrick
