I once used JDBC to access Image/SQL from StarOffice running on Linux.
It was a little tricky because the StarOffice code did not seem to like
the typical Image/SQL table names (e.g. music.composers). By creating
appropriate views (e.g. composers) for the user accessing the data via
JDBC (create view composers as ... in isql) it seemed to be possible to
get around this quirk.

Regular JDBC programs written by myself worked without such quirks.
