Hello,

I'm running on a HP3000 969 / 200 with 768MB of memory, on Mpe/ix 6.0 PP2

The HP 9000 is connected via the french Transpac network, on a 64kb line.
It's true that the line is sometimes overloaded, and that this problems only
appear on peak hours.
We are transfering large files every 5 minutes using ftp, but there is
always a heavy traffic.

Not only the dir doesn't work, but other commands fail to (mput, ...)

Yesterday, I increased the maximum of tcp connections, that still was on
128, and changed it to 256 ( I suspect this value was reached, I'm now
monitoring it with nettool ).

In NETXPORT.NI.mylan, I have:

Number of Outbound buffers: 128

I don't find the inbound buffers ???

Do you thing this value should be increased ?

Thank You.

Beghein Johan
