If you want to do so, Ernie, but you do NOT have to do so. It
would not make any difference (except, perhaps, for gobbling up
some extra memory that you could use to play Adventure).

With ANY version of IMAGE older than C.09.02, Adager does NOT need
any extra NM stack space to rebuild B-Trees.

Please do NOT worry about editing them. By the time you upgrade your
IMAGE version to C.09.02 (or newer), you should have received a new
version of Adager that automatically handles its own (larger) NM stack
needs.

In fact, for all Adager users who need it NOW, we can ship you an
Adager version (010516 or newer) that prevents this NM stack overflow
under IMAGE C.09.02 (or newer).

We started the "factory" today. The factory, of course, includes all
the required communications channels (email, letters, fax, calls) that
we must send to our customers to find out who is affected.

We can't ship thousands of tapes to everyone. We CAN ship the
necessary tapes (or authorize Internet downloads) to those who tell
us that they are affected.

I had the choice of waiting for the factory to get rolling or posting
a message to hp3000-L *before* even getting the factory organized.
Thanks to Jeff Kell's wonderful infrastructure for our worldwide
hp3000 community, my choice was a "no brainer" :-)

Jeff: hp3000-L is GREAT.

Thank you,
