Dr. Oralia Preble-Niemi of the Department of Foreign Languages and
Literatures has been asked to write the Prologue for a book of poetry
titled "Huella de Amor" by the Nicaraguan poet Christian Santos.  Dr.
Preble-Niemi met Ms. Santos while doing interviews funded by a UTC Faculty
Reseach grant and a Witter-Bynner grant.  The book was awarded a national
prize in Nicaragua and is being published as part of the award.

Please join in congratulating Dr. Preble-Niemi on being selected for this
honor.
