Kim Renz of the Fine Arts Center has been awarded an $8,000 grant from
Allied Arts of Chattanooga to help fund the Dorothy Patten Fine Arts Series
Outreach Program. With this additional funding, the program hopes to
increase its impact on the community by creating artist residencies in
collaboration with different educational institutions and arts
organizations. The outreach programs will be targeted to students from
elementary through high school ages, from inner city to rural areas, as
well as the community through Westside Development and the African-American
Museum.

Congratulations to Mr. Renz on being awarded the funding to help implement
this important collaborative effort.
