One quick way to ascertain this is to look for the diamond-shape logo on
the connector or on the device. The SE device will have a single line
diamond with a dash on the right corner. The DIFF device will have a
diamond with a big "<" sign on the left side (sort of like a double line)
and a dash on the right corner. All SCSI devices are supposed to have this
logo.

We currently have a Deskside A3311A and I replacing it with a A3312A's to
mount in our rack. Our current unit is SE , how do we tell if a A3312A is

SE or DF unit if it is not marked? And does anyone know what is the
difference in the boxes (cards, pins or just the cabling)?
