MPEX's LISTF file,2 shows the record number being read as greater than the EOF
(and LIMIT, too).
This is a flat file, fixed length record. The COBOL program that is reading the
file is not performing MR NOBUF I/O to our knowledge.
Can someone please help explain this phenomenon? Does the fact that this is a
self-describing file generated by SUPRTOOL have any think to do with it? Or is
MPEX calculating the input record number based on the blocking factor of 64? Or
??
