I suggest that any copier company whose products cannot copy LaserJet output
is doomed.

Of course Xerox's standard operating mode often seems as if "doomed" is the
right term :-)

The one specific case I know of of "hard to copy output" occurs with Xerox's
own Phaser printers which print with wax and thus create a tacky surface
which tends to stick to glass copier platens pretty well.

These days these things usually support every printing protocol in
existence, so I would be somewhat surprised (but this *is* Xerox) to find
out that your copier does not have a "raw TCP" option that would be at least
mostly compatible with the MPE Network Printing facility.
